The pictures on the website don’t do Dromana house justice! The gardens are beautiful and I imagine are even more amazing in spring/Summer. Loved every aspect of our time in Co. Waterford. Thank you Barbara and Nicholas for sharing your wonderful home and garden.

Thank you. Now every holiday in Ireland will have to live up to our time in Dromana if that is possible.

We had never visited County Waterford befoe and using Dromana as our base found that it was the perfect setting for a very enjoyable week. It speaks volumes when two teenage girls do not moan and indeed report positively on social media about their time spent in the wonderful grounds and comfortable apartment. Thank you Barbara and Nicholas.

Searching our heritage from the village found names of our ancestors in the rock house at Dromana which is by the river, from the 1850’s. Absolutely loved the estate.

We’ve had a fantastic time at Dromana and in Waterford. What a lovely, scenic and peaceful location this is. The apartment is lovely – really spacious and very well equipped – lovely hosts.
During our stay we’ve seen/done/tried:
Dungarvan, Youghal, Nicholas’s cider ( lovely & thanks). Knockadoon Point , the Greenway ( parts of), The Cliff Walk at Ardmore, the Copper Coast drive ( stunning) The Vee, walks on Clonea strand, in Dromana gardens. We ran out of time and didn’t get to have a local day to fully explore Lismore with it’s Castle,
Cappoquin, & Barrons bakery, and Villierstown and it boat club.
Good food at: The Tannery, Dungarvan; Sea horses Ardmore; The café at Stephen Pearse Pottery in Shanagarry; Gourmet House café on the square in Dungarvan. For great Irish arts and crafts; Ardmore pottery in Ardmore.
