“Growing and Foraging for Herbs“ with Marie Reilly from the Lismore Clinic

Join Marie Reilly for a wonderful afternoon on growing and foraging your own herbs and wild flowers, and using herbs at home for maintaining good health and treating common complaints.

The event will begin at 2pm sharp, with a foraging walk around the beautiful gardens and woodland around Dromana House, on the banks of the Blackwater River near Cappoquin, Co. Waterford. The walk will be followed by a demonstration of how to make and use some simple home remedies, such as teas, syrups and herbal creams and balms. Light refreshments will be served with a herbal twist Marie Reilly is an experienced Medical Herbalist and teacher, who runs a busy herbal medicine practice at the Lismore Clinic, and has a particular interest in the healing power of Irish herbs. Admission is €15 for adults (children under 12 free). All proceeds will be donated to the Lismore Cathedral Fund. Numbers are limited.
