This spacious, beautifully appointed self-catering apartment, is the East Wing of the original jacobean house. Sleeping up to 8 people, the East Wing is ideal for families or groups of friends looking to unwind in the heart of the Irish countryside or explore everything this wonderful part of County Waterford has to offer.
The Accomodation
Whether you want to relax on the sofa in front of the wood burning stove with a book or get everyone together for some delicious food, you’ll find everything you need here for the perfect getaway. In addition to the comfortable sittingroom and large, seperate dining room, there are four generous double/twin bedrooms and three bathrooms, one with shower over bath, one ensuite bathroom, and one ensuite shower room. The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with double oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, clothes washer, and dryer. Every rooms enjoys spectacular views of the Blackwater river, the extensive private gardens or the knockmealdown mountains.
Larger groups have the option of also taking the River Duplex which sleeps an additonal 4 people. Both apartments are fully furnished with free Wi-Fi and are the perfect base from which to enjoy this wonderfully unique location. Heating is by our central biomass system for your comfort.
Things to do at Dromana
The magnificent private gardens throughout the property are yours to enjoy for the duration of your stay, with 3.5km of paths lined with beautiful plants and trees , plenty of outdoor seating and a firepit to keep you warm long into the evening. The gardens lead into 600 acres of secluded woodland with a variety of walks to suit all abilities.
The local area is brimming with things to do from hill walking, Bicycling, kayaking, fly fishing, orienteering , foraging, all available nearby. The heritage town of Lismore is only 3.5km away and the coastal town of Dungarvan with it’s excellent restaurants and direct access to the glorious cycle paths of the famous Greenway is just 20 mins. Drive. The seaside village of Ardmore is also just 20 mins. from Dromana.

CANCELLATIONS
We hope you won’t have to, but if you do, we require a 7-day notice period. After this time a 100% cancellation fee will apply. We will do our utmost to resell the rooms for that period. Please note the cancellation will only apply if we are unable to resell the room. Please check that your travel insurance provides adequate cover.
